Scott's father ran an electrical contracting business in Gympie and his grandfather was an electrical contractor in Brisbane. In 2007, Scott completed a course in electrical contracting and later a Certificate IV in Grid Connected Solar Design and Installation. 'Melinda handles the phone calls and all the accounting side of the business and I do the work. We work together as a team,' he said.
