Surfside is a small, private complex of 12 beach houses, located in Rainbow Beach, 3 hours north of Brisbane. The Complex was designed by award-winning Architect, Lindsay Clare. The 4 story townhouses are nestled in amongst natural vegetation, and designed to catch the gentle sea breezes that blow in off the Pacific Ocean. There is a private pathway that leads through the bush to the beach which is just 120 metres from the complex. The top viewing deck looks out over the lush bushland, clean sandy beaches and clear blue water. This secret hideaway offers peace and privacy, plus excellent accommodations for up to 8 people. The main entrance is on the ground level, and contains a large bedroom with a queen size bed, roomy ensuite and TV. The bedroom opens out onto a deck area that is boarded by bushland. On the second level, we have 3 large bedrooms and a full-size bathroom with large bathtub. Then we travel up to the third level where we find an open-plan living, dining, kitchen area that opens out onto the balcony. The top level has been designed to take full advantage of the amazing views, with a deck area furnished with tables and chairs. The rooms are generously sized with polished wooden flooring and air conditioning. Each 4-bedroom house sleeps 8 people, with 2 Queen Size beds and 4 single beds. The living room has a TV and DVD player. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher and microwave and full-size oven. A separate laundry with washing machine and dryer is located on the ground level. The gardens include a large in-ground salt water swimming pool with an adjacent BBQ area with tables and chairs. Each house has parking for 2 cars. The houses are completely private and peaceful in a natural bush setting with no adjacent housing, with a private path to the beach, which is only 120m away.
