“the building has been beautifully restored with large and comfortable bedrooms the food is superb and beautifully presented - the breakfasts were great too although we probably didn't need all that after the dinner the night before easy and relaxed - I have been a couple of times and the standard was superb both times”

“After a long day helping a friend pack up for moving I was tired and felt like a lovely plate of steak and chips: the steak was superb and beautifully cooked and my reception was friendly and welcoming, despite my grotty state!!! Very happy indeed; a lovely friendly accomodating pub. Highly recommended”
