BEST Accommodation in Edmonton QLD 4869

We (3 families - 6 adults and 6 children) spent a week at Poinciana Lodge in mid-December and had a lovely time. The home was able to accommodate all of us with ease and without ever feeling like we were on top of one another as there are numerous living spaces, both indoors and out. During our stay we found we rarely had to use the air-conditioning as the house has good cross-ventilation and lots of ceiling fans. We generally only turned the air-con on to cool the children's rooms down to get them off to sleep and then switched them off later in the evening. David, the host, was very helpful in greeting us on arrival and showing us through the property. There were beautiful floral arrangements, a welcome hamper plus a 'starter pack' of items in the fridge such as milk, butter, bread. A very nice location just on the water and walking distance to shops, restaurants and all water activities. The staff at the hotel are very helpful our room was well equipped and serviced daily. They even upgraded our room which was great. We had a fantastic water and city view. The hotel was away from the main drag so was a bit quieter. Lovely cafes at your doorstep
