About Wide Bay Chiropractic–Damian Mamet

Wide Bay Chiropractic offer chiropractic and lifestyle services for people in Gympie and surrounding areas from newborn to elderly. Our aim is to help your spine and pelvis regain it's natural movement to minimise any nerve interference a lack of movement causes. This allows the body to function optimally, that is to self regulate and self heal. We achieve this with a series of sessions using a low-force technique designed to help the body unwind. As part of our treatment package we help you recognise the importance of minimising the debilitating effects stress has on our bodies and what steps we can take in our everyday lifestyle to support the nervous system. When required, we will refer you to other health practitioners if we feel their area of expertise will help you reach your health goals. Your health is our number one priority, make it yours!

I've tried just about everything to lose weight but nothing seemed to help until I spoke to the chiropractor. They have a special weight loss program where thye give advice on eating healthy, exercise and a change of lifestyle that will reduce the stress on your body. I am now thinking healthy and improving everyday.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Chiropractic Subluxation?

A subluxation is a lack of normal movement in any joint. Chiropractors focus primarily on the joints of the spine and pelvis to reduce the amount of neurological interference that accompanies a lack of normal movement. A lack of movement over years leads to degeneration of the joints and body as a whole.

How do we correct the subluxation?

The correction is known as an “adjustment”. The adjustment is either a manual adjustment where the Chiropractor will give a short, quick thrust onto the subluxated area with their hands, or it is carried out using an Activator Instrument or Impulse Machine. We also use biomechanical wedges or blocks to correct pelvic distortion patterns.
