About Bowen Therapy Bowen Therapy is named after the Australian man who created the technique in the 1950's. With no formal bodywork training Tom Bowen created a series of gentle soft tissue moves performed on the body on specific muscles, joints, nerve points and tendons which were able to relieve his clients of pain and imbalance within a few short treatments. Temple Massage was founded in 2006 offering a much needed service for Mobile Massage on the Sunshine Coast - mainly the Sunshine Coast Hinterland - and specialised in offering couples massage for romantic getaways.
