We were given great advice when we started our building renovation. "Hire a building consultant" who is independent from the building company we engaged to carry out the work. An independent building consultant will help you: 1. A.S. are met 2. If variations are implied, your consultant can tell you if they really do need to be implemented or can suggest a workaround 3. Help you understand your legal rights 4. Help you understand building principles and regulations 5. Peace of mind We hired Stuart as our consultant and on one occasion our builder tried to hit us with a $14,000 additional fee that I thought we would definitely have to come up with. My wife said let's get Stuart. He met us on site, he showed us an alternative that cost us a total of $1,260 including Stuart's fees. What a saving! Stuart is a brilliant building consultant.

I have utilised Absolute Plastering for a number of jobs over the years, most recently to repair holes in walls in a rental apartment while renovating in preparation for new tenants. The Absolute Plastering team came in as planned on schedule and prepared and repaired all the damage that had been done quickly and efficiently. The team cleaned up afterwards and I was left with a very neat and clean workspace. I have been in communications with Jon and the team for repairs, renovations as well as whole house plastering and have only the highest regards for the work done, they are able to adapt to changes in plans and with timelines. Many trades are hard to follow up with commitments to time and budgets but I can personally vouch for the professionalism and recommend the team at Absolute Plastering.

We had Shaun and his team fix a range of different things on the property and there was barely anything him and his team couldn't do. Big jobs as painting our house and to small jobs changing light bulbs, nothing was to big or little for them. Everything was done at a honest and reasonable price. We were given updates of the progress at work and also pictures at the end, we are happy to recommend their services to family and friends in the area. Thanks again!
