Fraser Shores Medical Centre is a privately owned AGPAL Accredited General Practice, established in Hervey Bay in 2002. Even then, though the practice was small, it focused on providing trusted and high quality healthcare tailored to the individual patient. Over the years Fraser Shores Medical Centre has continued to expand and now has 5 full-time very experienced GPs with rooms for more, 3 Registered Nurses, 3 Medical Receptionists and a Practice Manager. As Part of our commitment to offer the best and highest quality health care to our patients, we moved into a brand new multipurpose well equipped, state of the art premise opposite the Hervey Bay Hospital in 2016. We are proud of our AGPAL Accreditation which is assessed every 3 years. We are also in the process of securing accreditation as a training post for GPs and Registrar with the GMT/RCAGP/ACRRM.

Nissen Street Veterinary Surgery is a newly established practice opening its doors mid-2020. Our health care philosophy places a strong emphasis on preventative medicine ensuring pets have a happy and healthy life. We take a long term and holistic view of your pet’s health but are fully equipped to diagnose and treat those unavoidable ailments should they arise. We are committed to the educational support of clients and are open and honest in advising the best course of treatment for the individual needs of the patient and client. In addition to offering veterinary services to your pets, we also stock a variety of parasite preventatives and specialty food lines.
