After completing ophthalmic training in Australia Dr Chris Hornsby worked at an ophthalmic hospital in Jerusalem as the Australian Priory Fellow, and then completed sub-specialist training in diseases and surgery of the cornea at Birmingham Midlands Eye Centre. OL Master - used prior to cataract surgery to obtain dioptre power for the correct Intraocular Lens to be inserted after cataract removal. OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography)—an eye scan mapping the retinal nerve fibre layer, which determines retinal holes or dysfunction.
