Supporting our local fisherman that fish the Tweed region that catch Mud crabs, Sand crabs whiting, jewfish mullet, bream, flathead and more, we also have fish and seafood from Queensland waters and we even have fresh fish flown in from New Zealand. We debone all our fish fillets ready for you to enjoy. Our fish and chips are cooked in 100% cholesterol free sunflower oil. Choose from our light and crispy homemade beer batter or try our Japanese Panko crumb. Healthier options include, grilled fish in a selection of marinades. We have selection of salads to choose from and our popular ready to eat fresh seafood platters including: Moreton Bay Bugs, Prawns and Oysters. Choose to dine in either on the deck or undercover overlooking the Tweed Marina with 150 seating capacity, as an added bonus we are fully licensed or you may wish to takeaway and enjoy your feast at the beach or picnic areas close by. St Helens Bar and Burgers in Kirra Beach is owned and operated by Jess and Brendan Hayes. Having found the perfect location just across from the Kirra foreshore, the couple began St Helens Bar and Burgers. Jess had been a fancy chef at many wineries in Victoria, as well as restaurants in her native USA, but now wanted to bring to the Gold Coast a fresh version of American Bar Food. All Burgers and Cocktails are hand-made with only local ingredients.
