Sophie's approach is firstly to listen to the client's story. Then, she will discuss client goals and identify how they can work together to achieve them. Sophie works with a range of issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship challenges and life change. Sophie also has extensive experience working with children and teenagers and in this online format will work with young people aged 12 and over. 12-18 year olds can face enormous challenges as they navigate through their teenage years. Sophie can work with a range of issues in this age bracket including depression, anxiety, social difficulties, relationship challenges, family break-ups, school avoidance, behaviour problems and trauma. Sophie offers a FREE 15 minute introductory phone call so that you can get to know each other, discuss the presenting issues and find out if you will be a good fit together as counsellor and client. Then, if you are comfortable proceeding with counselling, you can book your first session in online through Sophie's website.
