As a Martial Art School & Supplier, Community Service Club, Gymnastics centre, and Charity, we offer a plethora of services to cater to your needs. We started as a steering committe in November 2008 having identified a need for a Men's Shed in the area. After a lot of hard work the Shed was officially opened in February 2011 The name relates to the area postcode of 2322 and that is the area we encompass. The Shed was established with the aim of providing men with a place to be productive, establish new relationships and even just somewhere to have a cup of tea and a chat with someone. Newcastle City Council have allowed us to occupy what was formerly the local tennis club at Beresfield. The premises are not ideal for our purposes but surprisingly we manage to create items for the local community when we are asked to. Not having a dedicated shed limits our ability to make multiple items for sale and this is where we are missing out on an income stream.

Our Men's Shed was formed on Thursday 23 June 2011 when about 50 people gathered in the Committee Rooms at Port Stephens Council administration building. Our initial Constitution was adopted and our first Board members were elected. On 28 October 2011 some minor changes to the Constitution were adopted to meet the requirements of the ATO and to bring it in line with the Dept of Fair Trading. At this time a change in management structure was adopted changing from a Management Board to a Management Committee. For more details see our History page. On 4 August 2012 our "First Shed" was formally opened by Cr. Glenys Francis and a successful Open Day was held.
