Allweld Manufacturing began in 1995, creating an income for Andrew & Jo-anne Shilleto after an accident prevented him from continuing his welding employment. The family business grew steadily within the local community, and they added employees and clients as their reputation grew. Both Andrew and Jo-anne have the true Australian attitude of, ‘if you do a job, do it well’.

Urangan Engineering is a proudly family owned and operated steel, aluminium and stainless steel sales and repairs business, operating in Hervey Bay for more than 40 years. Our owner and manager, Rick Verbruggen, started his apprenticeship here in 1977. In 1979, his father, Jack, a toolmaker by trade, bought the business and the rest is history, as they say. Rick is still hands on with the tools, and has seen many changes, from concentrating on making farming implements, to heavy involvement with the fishing industry and of recent years in the building industry. Rick and our team are fully experienced in all areas of general welding, repairs and steel requirements for the general public and businesses alike.
