These have proven to be extremely accurate, and both soft and rigid orthotics can be manufactured from foot scans. At Alice Springs Podiatry we offer various forms of physical therapy. Strengthening/stretching exercises, dry needling, acupuncture, deep tissue massage and joint mobilisation. Joint mobilisation is a technique used to ease away joint restrictions - think of it like massage for your foot joints! This improves the mobility around your joints by releasing connective tissue restrictions and restoring your joints to their correct position. Alice Springs Podiatry is the only clinic in Alice Springs which offers Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT). ESWT is a highly effective treatment for heel pain (plantar fasciitis), Achilles tendonitis, shin pain and other soft tissue injuries. Dr Stephen Dominguez - B.AppSc (Clinical Science), B.Sc (Chiropractic), ICSC A graduate of the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) in 2000 with a Bachelor of Clinical Science and Bachelor of Chiropractic. Dr Steve has been a Chiropractor for over 20 years and in Alice Springs since 2004. Dr Steve has advanced his studies in sports and rehabilitation by completing the International Certificate in Sports Chiropractic (ICSC) to be able to offer more services to the local and visiting sporting community. Dr Steve is the owner of Alice Springs Chiropractic, a family run business that has supported the Alice Springs community for over 40 years.
