Communal cooking areas for fun-filled evenings under the stars with old friends and new. At NRMA Lake Somerset Holiday Park, a great atmosphere is just the beginning. Our natural setting and back-to-basics approach is the perfect antidote to the daily grind, but we’ve thrown in enough comforts to make it easy – including lakeside cabins and glamping tents.

Valli-Vu BnB Cottage, Gympie offers magical views....stretching down the Mary Valley on one side and across to Gympie on the other.... We offer a spacious Cottage (ex dairy) with separate comfortable Bedroom, Kitchenette, Lounge Room with big TV, Bath room, Dining room and a (wet) Storage room. Located 7kms north of Gympie, just off the highway, we are close to town with all the necessary local facilities and services (hospital, chemist, newsagents and a diverse variety of shops - Woolworths, Coles, IGA, Bunnings, Aldi) We cater for couples and provide with a hearty continental breakfast, providing a quiet and peaceful environment. You can also cook your own supplies on the supplied BBQ. Our large Crow Ash Tree provides the perfect shade for an afternoon drink while enjoying the often spectacular sunsets. We also have a large picnic table, just perfect for an outdoor lunch. At nightfall, watch the stars, sit by the fire or just enjoy the ambience. Valli-Vu is surrounded by a neighbouring cattle property with magical views and pretty gardens. There is abundant bird life, with the occasional kangaroo, possums, hares and our two pet Jack Russell's (George and Mick). They just think that visitors come to see them.... We can also cater for small boutique ceremonies (wedding, christening, naming etc.). Our pergola can be event themed just for you and then you can stay in the Cottage. So come and stay with us.
