Why doesn’t my NEC phone ring?
One of the causes, appart from the ringer volume being set too low, is that “Headset Ring” has been enabled. To disable Headset Ring: Press Menu Select (3) Settings Select (4) Headset Select OK Select Exit.

* Models: DK-616, DK824, NDK9000, XEN Alpha, XEN Axis, XEM Master, XEN IPK To set the Clock/Calendar from a Multiline Terminal with an LCD connected to Port 01 or 02. To be done from extension 100 or Port 01 or 02. To find these Ports, press Feature 4 on an idle handset.
