About Hinterland Tyres & Automotive

We are a locally owned family business where you will find father and son working side by side. Ryan Borough, the owner, has serviced the Maleny and Hinterland area with his mobile auto electrical business prior to opening Hinterland Tyres & Automotive services in May 2015. Ryan has 20 years experience in the field. Our mechanic, Russell has 35 years experience in the industry. Jack is our youngest member of staff and is a skilled tyre fitter and is happy to assist with all your tyre needs. Our friendly office staff provide quality customer service are more than happy to handle your enquiries and take your bookings. Please call in and meet our team.

If I could give 0 stars I would. 5 weeks to fix a wheel bearing issue. $500 job cost almost 2k. Dozens of phone calls never returned, false promises on when it was going to be ready. Was told the car would be ready for collection, sent a tow truck up from Brisbane and couldn’t take it because the car was still in pieces. After all that he then has the audacity to rush me to collect it at 7:30pm on a weeknight as “parkings an issue” AND THEN ASKS ME TO GO TO AN ATM AND GET CASH AFTER I HAD ALREADY ARRIVED!! Dodgy, unreliable, ripoffs.

Such a fantastic team!! They fixed my punctured tyre late on a Saturday afternoon without notice!! Amazing job, great service and very reasonable prices!!
