What’s the difference between a quote and hourly rate?
A quotation is a written description of the job that will be performed as well as the price that will be charged. The price must account for all possibilities, including an estimate of how long the task will take to complete. An hourly rate is a fixed fee for each hour that the agreed-upon activity is completed. Unlike a quote, the cost has no upper limit.
What is meant by minimum charge?
We must factor in the expenditures of employees travelling and picking up materials when determining the cost of finishing a job. This means that instead of charging an hourly fee for completing a small task for a client, a minimum charge will be charged to ensure that all costs are covered.
