Filmmaking and cinema have always played an important role in my life. Who doesn’t love lounging around on a rainy Sunday night, cozying up with a film? I have a passion for filmmaking and love working with people to share their stories. My style of filmmaking is intimate but objective, and in the editing suite I work tirelessly to shape the memories made on the day into your unique story. Family has played an important role in my decision to create Thomas James Media, with the business name chosen to honour both of my grandfathers. My main inspiration came from the creation of a short film I made documenting my father’s recovery progress after a life threatening spinal cord injury.

I'm an experienced fine art wedding photographer, living and breathing the crisp salty air of Newcastle, New South Wales. After my 7 years of study and solo travel, I graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA) in Sydney, dedicating my adventurous working life as a personal wedding photographer for unique, special couples. My style is very relaxed, fun and most of all, non-intrusive. My aim? Well it's to create breathtaking images for my couples, that showcase their wedding day uniquely as it truely unfolds.
