The Boarding Kennels brings in the finances that are required to maintain the Refuge side of the work. We are a “Low Kill” Refuge, with a euthanasia rate of approximately two animals a year, mainly due to significant ill-health or challenging behaviour that could cause danger. Euthanasia is the very last response after every other possible option has been explored. We are a group of volunteers and staff who are driven by our passion to rescue and rehome animals, and to educate our local community to become responsible pet owners.
