Booked a car - needed an 8 seater card hold was placed by third party booking agent, hertz didn’t confirm booking or deny it, no one answered the phone both thur and fri over multiple calls, now need to wait 28 days for 3rd party to process 1100$ refund to rebook. Customer service on hertz end extremely disappointing, the fact no one bothers to pick a phone up just escalates the situation.
Car hire for the week, was great we picked up a small car as down for a wedding and even gave us a baby seat as well, the staff very helpful and friendly, the price for hire was very good and car was reliable and clean recommending to all for sure cheers.
Please use extreme caution - Europcar Maroochydore airport are the worst crooks I have ever encountered. I rented an almost new car from the airport in late July 2016 and drove it straight into a garage in our resort where it sat until we returned it 5 days later. They then launched a damage claim which indicates they either didn't check the car properly when it was returned by the prior user or the worse possibility that they did so fraudulently. USE EXTREME CAUTION and if you want to be safe, use a different car rental agency instead.
Called to book a removals truck for a move this week on Friday, from "HALF PRICE" car & truck rentals, quoted $210 for small car licence Pantec with 200km, plus fuel etc.
Friendly lady answered and quoted as per my request, no complaints there.
Pretty much what I'd expect if I was calling any of the top brand name hire companies!
$210 is up with the most expensive truck rentals I have been quoted.
"HALF PRICE" Definitely NOT! Hate false advertising so hiring elsewhere and taking the time to explain why.
Suggest a name change to "We are as good as everyone else and charge full price!"
