Riordanvale is a suburb within the local government area of the Whitsunday Regional council in North Queensland. Riordanvale is near many attractions in the Whitsunday area. Airlie Beach is a lively and colourful town that is a popular holiday destination because of its shores lined with palm trees and the waters of Pioneer Bay. The beach also features a lagoon that is 4,300 square metres and has 4.5 million litres of fresh water. It is located parallel to the Main Street and has an excellent view of the Coral Sea and the Whitsunday Islands. Bowen, another nearby town, is also a popular tourist spot because of its many beaches and parks. Mullers Lagoon is a small park that is known for being home to native wildlife.
