Located in the northern suburbs of the Moreton Bay Region, Queensland, Eaton is approximately 16 kilometres off of the capital city of Brisbane. The suburban area of Eaton is bounded by several features of landscapes and waterscapes, such as Forrest Island, Flying Fish Point and Ella Bay, to name a few. The town of Eaton boasts of man tourist attractions as well, including Herbert River Museum, which is located in Halifax and displays a collection of artefacts such as watercolour drawings of Aboriginal objects.
