Situated north of the Gold Coast in Southeast Queensland, the suburban community of Upper Coomera is approximately 52 kilometres away from the capital city of Brisbane. The town of Upper Coomera is surrounded by Willow Vale and the Coomera River to the north and south, respectively. In the east, Upper Coomera is separated from Coomera by the Pacific Highway. Upper Coomera is a highly developed town with a large population. It is composed of commercial centres and residential districts. Public transportation in the area is mainly operated by Translink. Somewhere along Foxwell Road, there is also a train station that connects to Coomera, which makes it very accessible to Brisbane’s central business district. Upper Coomera is also known for The Lost City, its entertainment complex that was inspired by Arabic architecture.
