Approximately 105 kilometres away from the capital city of Brisbane, Australia, Yandina Creek is located in the south-eastern part of Sunshine Coast in Queensland. Its name came from two Aboriginal terms that loosely mean “to go” and “feet.”
The suburb of Yandina Creek is nestled between various features of landscapes and waterscapes, such as Mount Ninderry, Lake Weyba and Mudjimba Island, to mention a few. Yandina Creek also houses a lot of nearby tourist attractions, including Gingertown Motor Garage, which features Australian goodies like handmade porcelain dolls, motoring memorabilia and sweet condiments, Fraser Island Discovery, which offers an exciting four-wheel drive adventure around Sunshine Coast, and many others.
The primary transportation services in Yandina Creek are mainly linked by the Yandina train station and the Sunshine Coast Airport. There are also a number of neighbouring hotels that cater to travellers who wish to stay in town. Some of these include Pacific on Coolum, Seacove Resort and Surf Dance Holiday Unit.
