Imbil is a small town that’s part of the Wide Bay-Burnett region in Queensland. The area is known to be surrounded by thick forests that serve as the track for the annual three-day Asia Pacific Rally Championship. Tourists usually flock to Imbil when these races happen. The International Rally of Queensland and the Australian Rally Championships are usually held in the area of Imbil.
The town is also home to the annual Mary Valley Art Festival, which began in 2000 to highlight the local artists from the area. The artworks are displayed at the Imbil public hall where locals and tourists can gaze upon the wonderful art that is inspired by the culture of Imbil. The Coral Sea is nearby, providing residents and travellers with easy access to a number of beautiful shorelines. The town also has erected the Imbil War Memorial to remind locals about those who brave souls who served during the World War II. The historic Railway Hotel can also be found in the Imbil area.
