Condon is a suburb in Townsville, Queensland. It is part of the upper Ross District. Ross River Road borders north of the suburb and the main Townsville ring-road runs through the centre. On the boundary to the east flows the Ross River.
The area was named after the Condon Family, who settled on the Ross River and operated a dairy farm.
Condon is supported by community services and local small businesses, including light commercial and industrial retailers, it is also home to the Thuringowa State High School and Shalom Christian College and two major parks, Jabiru and Bowhunters Road Park.
