Surrounded by the waters of Dunlops Canal, the suburb of Broadbeach Waters in Gold Coast is situated 83.1 kilometres southeast of Brisbane in Queensland. While the neighbouring suburb of Broadbeach is considered as a busier urban centre, Broadbeach Waters has been popular among Gold Coast residents and visitors for the interesting restaurants, shopping centres and attractions dotting the area and its canal systems. Aside from other bodies of water such as the Nerang River and Lake Intrepid, the suburb is also surrounded by a number of parks, including Cascade Gardens, Pratten Park and Albert Park. Its proximity to the beaches of Sunshine Coast, Mermaid Beach and Surfers Paradise also make it a popular option for travellers who want to extend their visit in Gold Coast.
