Moffatdale is a suburban community located in the Bundaberg & Wide Bay region of Queensland, at the centre of South Burnett's wine growing area. The town’s name is historically known to be derived from the term given by German settlers. There are a number of natural landmarks close to the suburb, including the Wondai State Forest and Lake Barambah. Due to the town’s location within surrounding wineries and vineyards, local and foreign tourists often include a visit to Moffatdale in their itineraries.
