Kingaroy, an agricultural community is located in the South Burnett Region, in Queensland. Approximately 210 km’s north-west of the state capital Brisbane it has a population of around 12,000 people.
As the “Peanut Capital of Australia”, Kingaroy’s main street skyline is dominated by the silos of the largest peanut processing plant in the country. They are a local landmark and pride of the town.
