As the “Peanut Capital of Australia”, Kingaroy’s main street skyline is dominated by the silos of the largest peanut processing plant in the country. They are a local landmark and pride of the town.
It is the largest town in the South Burnett region and offers plenty of services, including large retail outlets, restaurants, motels, caravan parks, RSL club, golf club, 24 hour petrol stations and is serviced my major bus lines and has an aerodrome.
Located nearby are several wineries and the Booie Range Distillery, only the third distillery in Queensland.
