Glan Devon is a small town within the local government area of the South Burnett region of Queensland. The local government was established in 2008 when the shires of Kingaroy, Nanango, Murgon and Wondai merged as one. Glan Devon has many attractions that it can access in the South Burnett region. The Wondai Regional Area is Haly Street Wondai is just a drive away and is recognised as one of the best galleries in the rural southeast Queensland. It hosts new exhibitions every month and holds regular workshops and art classes. The Bjelke-Petersend Dam is also a famous tourist destination near Glan Devon. The award-winning Yallakool Caravan Park is situated on the banks of the damn and it attracts over 50,000 visitors every year.
