Baffle Creek is a locality within the local government area of the Gladstone Region in Queensland. The area was first settled by Prussian and German immigrants during the early 20th century. The Wartburg State School was founded by these immigrants, and the school continues to play an important role in the community to this day.
Baffle Creek is known for it’s great subtropical beauty. The area is comprised of many national parks, conservation areas and state forests. Exotic wildlife, including the Jabiru and Petra’s Frog, are found in the locality.
