Located on the Central Coast of Banana Shire in Rockhampton, Queensland, Dululu is approximately 489 kilometres away from the capital city of Sydney. It was originally named Bunerba but was later changed to Dululu, which literally means “soft.” The suburban area of Dululu is bounded by several features of landscapes and waterscapes, such as Red Hill, Piebald Mountain and The Black Range, to name a few. The town of Dululu boasts of adjacent tourist attractions as well, including Archer Park Rail Museum, which is a transport museum with a rare French Purrey steam tram, and Koorana Crocodile Farm, which opened in 1981 and was the first commercial crocodile farm in Queensland. In terms of transportation services, Dululu is mainly linked by the Little Crossing train station and also via the Rockhampton Airport. Hotels, such as Dululu Hotel, Rockhampton Palms Motor Inn and Rocky Resort Motor Inn, are also readily available for travellers who wish to stay in the area.
