Biloela is a town located in Shire of Banana, Central Queensland. The town is the administrative capital of the Banana Shire and is also known as “The Shire of opportunity” because of the wide array of industries located in the area. The Callide Power stations are situated in the north of Biloela and are supplied by the Boundary Hill Mines. Biloela is filled with family-friendly tourist destinations. Kroombit Tops draws visitors because of its great sandstone escarpments, creeks, and waterfalls. Also nearby is the Callide Dam, which holds an annual fishing competition. Rockfest, the Arts and Crafts Day and the Brigalow Arts Festival are just a few of the other annual events held in Biloela.
