Today, Gordonvale is home to many heritage-listed sites and historical spots, such as the Mulgrave Central Sugar Mill, which has been in operation since 1896, Alley Family Graves and the Mulgrave Settlers Museum. Gordonvale also holds an interesting annual event called The Great Pyramid Race and Country Fair, the highlight of which is a race to the peak of Walsh’s Pyramid nearby.
