Taabinga is a rural town located to the south of Kingaory. The town got its name from the Taabinga pastoral station, which is known as Taabinga Homestead. The homestead was where William and Charles Haly stayed. Taabinga Homestead was built in 1846 and is now a heritage-listed site. The place has large gardens, wildlife and walkways, so tourists can enjoy the historical place. Some of the outbuildings from the 1800s cattle station still stand to this day. Visitors can go on small or large guided tours of the land where they get to see a collection of photos from the 1800s. In addition to the guided tours of Taabinga Homestead, the site also offers accommodations for those who want to stay in the area longer.
