Bellmere is a suburban town located in the local government area of the Moreton Bay Region in the state of Queensland. The suburb’s name was supposedly taken from Arthur John Bell, a local landowner. One of the oldest structures in the area was the Bellmere State School, which was open from July 14, 1913 to 1936. The suburb is just a short distance away from major tourist attractions, recreational facilities and landmarks such as the Caboolture Golf Club, Caboolture Central Business District, Caboolture Hospital and the Caboolture Regional Sports Park. Aside from tourism, there are several other local businesses and services in Bellmere that help improve the local economy and employment. These enterprises include concrete contractors, general photographers, bus and coach charters and tours.
