Zena Clarke Counselling provides a safe environment for children and young people aged 3-16 years, to express themselves, in a developmentally appropriate way. The counselling approach is holistic, with a child-centred strengths focus. A range of modalities are used including creative therapies, life story work, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), play therapy, trauma informed care and practice, AutPlay therapy, mindfulness and relaxation techniques. Zena is a Accredited Clinical Supervisor with PACFA and offers clinical supervision to clinicians, working within a range of contexts and from varied disciplines. Zena has over 10 years experience, working collaboratively with supervisees and providing reflective practice clinical supervision. Zena provides a safe environment for supervisees to be able to reflect on their work, assess progress, engage creatively, discuss ethical dilemmas and implement training and development of skills where applicable, to ensure best practice. Zena offers Clinical Supervision in person and via Telehealth. The practice is located in the Port Macquarie central business district and provides a discreet and nurturing environment for working with children and young people.
