Had the pleasure of having Lauretta Wright , conducting our wedding ceremony. Though our wedding was anything but a normal affair, Lauretta made the whole experience wonderful and memorable. Though some people think of stress and anxiety when the word wedding is mentioned Lauretta made sure that there was none of that involved through her professionalism, organisation and eye for detail. We as a family could not recommend Lauretta and her business more highly, our day was made feel special, unique and perfect and Lauretta played a large part in that, thank you Lauretta.

Lauretta was the best celebrant we could have hoped for. She put us both totally at ease on the big day and managed unavoidable delays with professionalism and charm. We loved how Lauretta makes the couple the focal point of the ceremony with her special touches. Would highly recommend Lauretta.

So glad we had Lauretta as our celebrant. She made everything very easy, and smooth and the ceremony went without a glitch - we loved that she gave us space to choose a ceremony that was special to us, but also guided us when we had questions. Would highly recommend Lauretta!

Lauretta was an absolute pleasure to work with and we are so pleased that she could be part our special day. When she stepped back amoungst the guests to just allow myself and my new husband to be with each other as the main focus during the delivery of the ceremony, it was a stroke of genius - worthy of goosebumps! We couldnt recommend Lauretta highly enough!

Lauretta was absolutely magical to work with! She created the perfect ceremony for us, including a beautiful sand ceremony to include our children on our special day. She was so wonderful and fun to work this- she helped create such a calm atmosphere for our day ❤️ 10/10 would recommend!

Lauretta was absolutely wonderful from the planning to the big day. She was always available to chat about everything making sure that there was never any uncertainty. I couldn’t have asked for a better celebrant to officiate our special day. Her sense of humour, and willingness to include our 8 children in our ceremony set her above anyone else, even going to extra effort to include a second certificate that all our kids signed. She took all the craziness that is our family in stride and i would definitely recommend Lauretta Wright to anyone in need of a celebrant.

Lauretta was an absolute dream to communicate with from the start to the wedding day. She was very thorough, helpful and flexible with what we wanted - making our day truely ours. She made sure everything was organised, we knew what needed to be done and felt comfortable coming into a very nerve racking day! We are very grateful to have had Lauretta officiate our marriage and share our special day.

Wow! Is all I can say. From the moment of first contacting to post wedding contact, Lauretta has been nothing but amazing. Lauretta was not only fantasic with communication, she made our ideas work and made our day fun and about us! The one moment that will staty with us, is Lauretta standing out with our guests. So as the ceremony was underway we could see the faces of our famimy and guests which was so lovely to see. Every step and process was stress free, Lauretta just made the whole experience memorable and we will forever be greatful for her. 100% recommend Lauretta! What do I need to know about getting married?
The Attorney-General’s Department lists all the information that concerns getting married in Australia in easy to understand language together with links to all the required forms.
What words must be spoken at my ceremony for it to be valid / legal?
Both the monitum and the legal vows MUST be spoken at your ceremony otherwise your marriage may not be valid. All authorised Celebrants are required to include a statement (the ‘monitum’) explaining the nature of the marriage relationship in all marriage ceremonies they perform (section 46 of the Marriage Act).
