About Wish Tree Counselling
Hi, my name is Laura. I have worked as a counsellor for almost twenty years both in the UK, and in Australia since 2011. I specialize in anxiety, grief and self-care/wellbeing but also work with general issues. I have 3 years experience working for one of Australia's leading EAP companies. I support people across all Australian states with a variety of issues. I am a qualified Life Coach and advanced EFT practitioner in addition to counselling. I also write training programs which are approved by the Australian Counselling Association. My working days and hours can be flexible and all sessions are delivered bytelehealth or phone. Sessions are priced to be equivalent to Medicare rebates (counsellors are not eligible for rebates in Australia). Who offers MHCP’s rebates?
Counsellors are not eligible to offer Medicare rebates in Australia. Mental health accrediated social workers or psychologists can offer rebates. Fees for MH accredited social workers and psychologists usually start at approx. $280 -$330 per session with an approximate rebate of $80 - $110. My fees are set to fall in line or below the gap fee.
Do you offer a sliding scale?
I do allow one or or two clients per month to pay less. This is based on personal circumstances, so please message me to see if there is availability.
