When growing up in the 70's I used to call wires to come and save an animal (eg. Baby Tawny Frogmouth Owl) being stalked by neighbourhood cats. They came within 30 Min and saved the dude. I called now to report a Rainbow lorrikeet with one wing waddling past me and into a lane way. After what seemed like 20 minutes in hold I got transferred to a guy that took the address and my details and said that they are too busy and that someone could "maybe" come to see to the guy the next morning. It was 11pm. If Wires now prioritises revenue over lives saved, I will never call them again. Australia prides itaelf in having bush and national parks WITHIN our communities. Where is the care for the collateral lives being put at risk for this. I feel sorry for Australia's wildlife going forward. If there is no green agenda linked to them, they die.
