I used Wide Bay Computers to repair my Lenovo laptop hinge; however, upon return, he had drilled through the bottom of the screen - the touchscreen functionality was no longer working and battery life reduced dramatically. I emailed to express my concerns, but received no response. When I attempted to follow up via phone, my number was blocked, leaving me with no option but to visit the office in person. Although further repairs were made, the screen now cuts in and out intermittently, rendering the laptop virtually unusable. Very disappointing service and outcome.

I gave my Dell Laptop to fix the broken hinge. He has drilled the lid and partially fixed it without telling me this is the only way to fix it. The laptop was not charging and no display after the repair. He broke the motherboard and ruined my laptop. Now I have lost my laptop and all my saved files along with $165 fixing charge. I hope it can save someone ‘s time and money. Don’t ever go there. He will never admit his mistake . I should have checked the reviews before itself, because it is not only me somebody else also had a bad experience with him. It’s your money, be careful.

When I decided to go digital and abandon my old photo albums Ian did a great job of scanning my many photos and placing them on a USB for me. Ian is honest, has a friendly manner and is reliable. Nothing is too much effort for him.
