The tree had been damaged from a previous company who pruned it incorrectly. Whalen Tree recommended the best time of year to prune the particular species and ensured to cut the branches in the right locations to maintain the health of the tree. They did a great clean up job, leaving the yard spotless. The whole team have an excellent work ethic and an eye for detail.

Fantastic local family business! I called Matt at Whalen Trees after reading reviews online. He arranged to visit our garden the same afternoon. Arrived exactly on time. Was very knowledgeable, gave us a quote the next day and exactly a week later - despite the rain - and in a day and a half, we have a fully completed job. Our backyard has terraces, steps and narrow access and Matt and his team did an amazing job of taking down two very large trees and a number of smaller trees, cleaning up as they worked, leaving our backyard looking amazing.
