Hi, I'm Wayne Rees and I've been a Marriage Celebrant for the past 19 years. During that time I’ve married couples all over North Queensland including some of the most beautiful locations you could hope to find. Being born and bred in Cairns, I am very fortunate to have to “work” in such beautiful surroundings. In the lead up to and during my ceremonies, I make sure the bridal couple are both feeling relaxed. That way they are free to enjoyed the ceremony without stress or tension. I make sure everyone at the service can hear me. My training as a professional actor taught me to project my voice to the people in the back row. I am also the official “Town Crier” for Cairns. Having worked as an actor for many years, I am very happy to tailor your ceremony to however you would like it, be it quiet and calm or full of energy and enthusiasm - I'm here to make your day complete the way you would like it.
