The Real Deal published 2 months ago I'm the customer from hell. I'm suspicious, picky, and nowhere near as knowledgable as I like to imagine. I want all the extras thrown in, and I want everything at a bargain basement price. Well, at least it's true that I'm suspicious and picky and rarely an expert. Solar has been, in part, a shady business in recent years. Federal incentives have provided some opportunity for the unscrupulous, and I've met a good few of these operators, thankfully resisting their sparkling deals and the inevitable regret.
