About Tweed Heads Coolangatta Taxi Service

Tweed Heads Coolangatta Taxi Service provides reliable transport vehicles for all passengers, including children and people with special needs. Our well-maintained fleet of vehicles provides taxi services to all areas of the Tweed Coast and beyond. We have 21 sedans at your service. In addition, we also have seven-seat Toyota Taragos and wheelchair-accessible maxi taxis, and a wheelchair-accessible flash cab. For infant passengers, we have baby seats and baby capsules. Our taxi fleet keeps growing in number but not in age. These are recent model vehicles, 95% of them being less than three years old. Mechanical servicing is regularly scheduled for all vehicles, to limit mechanical breakdown to the rarest of possibilities. We have a large pool of fully qualified drivers who are set up for passengers with special needs, all of whom carry current Blue Cards. Most of our taxi drivers have lived and worked in and around Tweed Heads for many years, and we are proud to say that many of those drivers have been with us for more than 10 years. When you call Tweed Heads Coolangatta Taxi Service, on nine out of ten occasions, our taxi will be at your address within 15-minutes. We offer secure online booking, as well as apps for iPhones and Android phones.

Question? Does Tweed Taxi allow their drivers to hurl abuse out the window at other drivers? Incident just tonight 5th of January 2023. I was exiting the car park and I had to swing wide as my car is a older longer car, I was nowhere near this taxi drivers Prius labeled “14” on the back (rego plate: TC 979). I slowed when I past him, to wave and apologise. As in this scenario I was the one in the wrong this time. But…when I turned to do so. This taxi driver shouted at me, he might of sore at me, and feeling threaten. I left. I don’t shout or swear at my customers at my workplace. Why should this driver be allowed to while he’s on the job? Seagulls is frequented by elderly folk. I couldn’t see the taxi driver and it would of been the same with him. Especially since it was pouring down raining tonight. What if it was elderly folk and you could of given them a scare or worse a heart attack? Very unprofessional and I would like an explanation and apology.

Use tweed Taxi’s a lot a I am a non driver always found them great ring up always on time use them thru dva also great say a time arrive on time every driver I have had excellent never had a bad experience yet there prices are great would highly recommend them even office staff I have spoken to friendly and caring always answer my questions excellent service one of the best companies I have ever dealt with if you treat all people the way I am treated I am sure you do so keep up the good work tweed Taxi’s thank you gave you five stars if I could give more I would ten out of ten tweed Taxi’s great company to do business with Regards tony

Requested aTaxi at 6pm on 21/04/21 for pick up at No 2 Snapper Rocks Road Coolangatta. An Hour later Taxi arrives. Made numerous calls only to be told I was in Tweed Heads. Even spoke to a Call Centre in Sydney who didn’t know where Rainbow Bay Surf Club at Coolangatta was. I have a disability and to have to Sit on a Step for an hour is unacceptable. One call person said that we had already been picked up. Regards Stuart

First time in Kingscliff, very disappointing the taxis service at times very disorganised , 2 times I had text saying that a taxi Is on approach and never turned up once I called 4 times to follow up, it was a joke ,we stayed for a week,had to call an Uber half the time , I will hire a car next time.
