The male manager was very uninterested in our request to have the music turned down a little bit and as we have a baby and an elderly family member with poor hearing we were forced to leave. The young waitress who attempted to get him to speak with us, which he didn't, was very apologetic and said that she had repeatedly asked him to speak with us to no avail. We have since heard from others that the food they sell is under par and often late and or partially cold. No wonder when the manager seems to care so little and don't listen to their staff. Disappointing. Save your money and go elsewhere, we will be.

Went to Tom's as a family group birthday party, 10 adults and 12 kids, on a Sunday for lunch recently. We had a booking and everything was set up for us on arrival. This is a very family friendly venue with an outdoor and indoor play area for the kids. One of the kids was sick and the lady manager insisted on cleaning it up herself. The menu for both adults and kids has a good variety and prices for meals and drinks are reasonable in my opinion. We ordered our meals from the menu in one order and they all arrived together within a reasonable time. We were permitted to take our own birthday cake and it was kept out back for us until we were ready for it. All of the staff were very nice and helpful. This was our first time at this venue and I would recommend it for a similar family gathering. The kids had a great time. Well organised.

Tom's Tavern. The service was prompt and charming, however the food was very disappointing! Two steaks were ordered medium rare and came out medium-well done. The oysters were of dubious quality and the chips a little on the stale side and very unsatisfying. The caesar salads that come with the mains were almost inedible and in a word, bedraggled. The sodden texture speaks of careless bulk preparation. If you are looking for a satisfying pub feed I suggest you look elsewhere.
