On 29/10 visitors from Gympie were coming to visit me in Tin Can Bay ,they called ahead to the Snack Shack and ordered takeaway meals to pick up at a certain time before their visit to me, drove from Gympie to Snack Shack to PU order and were told they had forgotten the order so would have to wait , they of course waited but certainly were not impressed. On 30/10 I called in an order to PU, did so and got home and it was not what I ordered, called and informed them, hardly got an apology but they would rectify what was missing and I could PU , went back and it was ready and still had to pay for the correct order with no refund for the wrong one. I suggested that was not fair but the employee informed me she had just started her shift so it was nothing to do with her and please pay, which I did. I have heard many complaints about what used to be the best fish and chip shop but certainly seems to be changing lately, no more recommending it to the many tourists I speak to daily.
