Is regular maintenance of my door required?

The Roller Door Man NQ Pty Ltd recommends that you check the operation of your door at least every three to six months. The effort required to manually open and to manually close the door should be about the same. Note: if correct maintenance & servicing are not carried out, the warranty may be void.

Do I need to wash my Colorbond door?

Washing the door with clean water and a cloth every 14 days is recommended. More frequent washing is advised in salty or industrial fallout areas. Remember, when you think of cleaning your car, clean your door! Do not wash the automatic opener, it will void the warranty and could cause electrocution.

Should I adjust my door myself?

The spring unit is under tension at all times and should never be adjusted, except by B&D doors or approved B&D dealers. No operator or other people should ever stand directly in the path of the door in its downward travel or walk through the doorway while a door is moving. Always use the door handle to manually operate the door.

What if the door seems heavy and opens very slowly?

You might need to have the door serviced and balanced. Please do not attempt this yourself as the springs are under very high tension. Please contact us on 07 4035 5020 to book a service.

We had our roller doors installed yesterday , yes it did take a little longer than expected and we had to ring them and not the other way around, a little disappointing. But on the upside we are extremely happy with our doors and the workmanship, very professional and very well done. We chose the NEO doors and they look amazing. Thank you Jason

I would not recommend The Roller Door Man. They take bookings and make promises then they do not deliver. I called Roller Door Man 8 weeks ago to supply and install roller doors at my property. they said then it would be a 6-8 week wait. They advised they would be there to measure the following week. 6 weeks later they called me to tell me someone would be there that week to measure the openings and I had assumed they would have already been done. They were there to measure the doors on the week when they should have been installing them. there were over 20 emails and a few emails back and forth to try and get an installation date on my already installed doors and they told me at that time they could not help me. Please do something right for yourself and use a more reliable reputable roller door installer.

Thank you for your feedback. After looking into this we agree that the time period for a measure & quote is longer than we normally expect. Due to abnormally high demand the past few months we have experienced delays, specially in the outer laying areas including the Tablelands where you are situated. It is our normal practice when taking initial calls to advise of these delays so as our clients are aware of the current potential longer than normal waiting periods. We note that on receiving our Proposal we also sent you through the paperwork required to proceed with placing Orders & deposits but you were insistent on receiving a delivery date & required compensation before placing a formal order. All of our products are made to measure therefore we are unable to place an order on our supplier and get an ETA unless we have a completed order confirmation & deposit. We are sorry that your experience with our company has not been more positive and will look to improve communications.

David their technician did an amazing job fixing our rollerdoor. He explained exactly what he was doing and did it in a way I was able to follow. From start to finish it was a totally smooth experience and I highly recommend The Rollerdoor man to anyone.

I called Roller Door Man to book my rollerdoor for a service. The receptionist took my details and said that I will contacted either Friday or Monday coming to book a time before work to have the guys come out to do the job. It's Tuesday 6.30pm and no contact??? Obviously the negative reviews on here are correct. This business is not driven to improve their online reputation. I gave them a chance, teased them with my awareness of their poor service and they still failed??!!

Old roller door motor stopped working and expected to be up for a new motor, and would have then needed two as we didn't want two lots of controls for side by side doors. They could have easily just changed out the motors, but they took the time to investigate and found a cooked gecko in the motor, changed the power supply and serviced both doors, saving me about $800. Good old fashioned service, and will call them again when the motor finally dies properly.
