Called about a replacement pump. Got a grumpy staff member answer. Was advised to email pictures of my pump which i did with a detailed description of the issue. Nil response after 2 weeks. Called again and call was answered and i was told they were too busy. Calked back later got receptionist who gave me excuses about why they had not responded then kept calling me dude! Finally had a tech come out and advised i need new pump and they will send quote. Surprise surprise no word since. Very unprofessional.

Not a good experience. When dropping off our pump the attitude of the staff was poor, as though they were doing us a favour serving us. We paid an amount for the pump to be looked at and were supposed to get a call to quote the repair price. The first call we received was to say the repairs had been made and I was given a price of mid $200. This was acceptable as it was around half the cost of the purchase price. On collection the price was $407.50. One of our employees paid the invoice and it was emailed to me. I called immediately to query the cost and was not helped at all. I was told that we hadn't requested a call - we had, and the price told to me over the phone must just have been for the parts. I was also told that I could bring the pump back and they would remove the part and refund me the price of the part. They also said that a replacement pump cost is $956.70, so the repair price was reasonable. I can buy a new pump for $590.00 so they are obviously overpriced.

Over the 19 years we've had dealings with The Pump House (mostly when they were located in Maleny and afterwards in Beerwah) we've met staff members of all ages and attitudes. All have been efficient but when someone comes along (admittedly with the benefit of youth on his side) bringing expertise, efficiency, a cheerful manner and a beaming smile it's time to add a review - so thank you Scotty. I'm sure you will go far in your chosen field and the Pump House at Beerwah is fortunate to have you. I'd like to add thanks to Sheree as well. Clearly a lady who can pour oil on troubled waters; add in a smiling voice and a friendly attitude and Sheree is another person whom the Pump House is fortunate to have on their team. Thank you.

Bought plastic fitting at gold-plated price later at wamuran coop bought same for third of price. Over 30 years spent thousands on irrigation pumps but will not spend a cent more with company of questionable pricing.
